| | | | | | FoxTorrent is a Torrent download manager integrated intro Firefox Browser. It works on Windows, Mac and Linux. When you download a .torrent file it will be opened directly into Firefox, with minimal configuration needed. Also, you can stream video or audio files as they download.
Fox torrent is using only 8MB of memory, and downloads will continue to work even after your browser windows has been closed.
To start: go to http://foxtorrent.com/ and install the plug-in. Now go to Tools -> Add-ons, select FoxTorrent add-on and press Options. This is the only thing you need to configure, the download directory.
To begin using it, go to a torrent website, when you will click on a torrent file download link, a new tab for FoxTorrent will open. You can close this tab whenever you want, you can open it at any time from Tools -> FoxTorrend Downloads, similar with opening regular downloads in firefox. When viewing downloads and progress bar, you can press "Stream" button and you can view what has been downloaded.
If you use Firefox normal download manager instead of using other download management software, you will find interesting using FoxTorrent instead other Torrent management software.
You can switch back anytime to your old torrent manager from Tools -> Add-ons, and Disabling FoxTorrent.
